Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE).

IHIE is one of the oldest and largest health information exchanges in the United States. Built on infrastructure originally developed by the Regenstrief Institute in Indianapolis (Regenstrief is also where LOINC and the OpenMRS reference EHR originated), IHIE connects most major Indiana hospital systems and provides clinical messaging, query-based record retrieval, and population-health analytics. The IU Health Informatics MS sits inside this ecosystem and feeds it directly.
